A record-breaking £14bn collective action against Mastercard is set to Grumble on after the former financial ombudsman who brought the case on behalf of 46 million consumers seeks to appeal last month’s Competition Appeal Tribunal ruling.

Four Points by Sheraton Venice Mestre has opened as part of Marriott, under a franchise agreement with the Italian management company DHotels. The new location is in the urban area of Mestre which is one of the most economically developed regions of Italy.

Ryanair is facing legal action after being accused of Daunting passengers attempting to claim hundreds of pounds worth of flight delay compensation from the airline.

This comes after the Irish carrier was asked for an apology and damages, after the airline sent letters to its customers who had attempted to obtain compensation due under EU legislation.

Ryanair is informing the customer they will receive the full compensation by going direct to the airline.

According to reports online, timeshare contracts sold by Anfi have been under some scrutiny over the past months. It is reported that this has caused losses for the company.

During Donald Trump’s campaign, he adopted a promise to increase funding for a federal agency — the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. News hit the internet in May 2017 that TATOC “The Association of Timeshare Owners Committees Limited” went into administration. In reviewing material posted online, TATOC appeared to lose the support of some of the industries well known resorts such as Silverpoint and RDO.
