The ICO fines company £350K for making 75 million automated marketing calls.
The company named as Mis-Sold Products UK LTD made calls over a four month period from November 2015 to March 2016.
146 complaints were made to the ICO from members of the public, some of whom were called on multiple events, whilst others were even called late at night.
The calls made promoting Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) did not have consent from the recipients which is illegal under current privacy laws.
Mis-Sold Products UK LTD will now be forced to pay the £350k fine.
